Modifications

In 2007, the revival of the famous brand began, under whose name two cars have already appeared: the new Taurus sedan became an upgraded version of the Five Hundred, and the mid-size Taurus X crossover replaced the Freestyle. The new sixth generation appeared in 2009, and three years later the car underwent restyling.

The 2016 Ford Taurus sedan was equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission in combination with 2.0-liter and 3.5-liter gasoline engines.
