Ford Explorer is a mid-size five-seater crossover, a representative of the seventh generation.

To create the new generation vehicle, the developers used the Volkswagen MEB platform. It was on its creation that the Amarok and Ford Ranger automobile concerns came together in cooperation. The companies also collaborated on the development of pickup trucks.

The car has become slightly smaller in size compared to its gasoline predecessor. There are no chopped lines in the exterior. The exterior body architecture impresses with its smoothness and confidence. In general, the developers managed to emphasize the modern style of the SUV. The 3-liter V-shaped engine with 6 cylinders reaches 400 horsepower. The manufacturers also provided a hybrid installation based on the 3.3-liter V6, which hides 318 hp under the hood. The powertrains are mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.
Rear-wheel drive will be available for the 2024 model.
