2023 Ford Edge Owner's Manual

The 2023 Ford Edge is a two-row, front-wheel drive mid-size crossover that is in its ninth model year and second generation. In the new model year, there are few changes. Perhaps this generation will be the last for the Ford Edge crossover.

The standard model of the crossover received an in-line 4-cylinder engine with turbocharging and direct injection, which produces 250 horsepower. The working volume of the motor is 2 liters. The torque figure is 379 Nm. The power unit is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

For the ST configuration, a V-shaped 6-cylonder with a working volume of 2.7 liters is offered. Thanks to twin turbocharging, the power figure is 335 horsepower. A 7-speed automatic transmission is provided for the 6-cylinder engine.
The front independent type suspension is represented by McPherson struts, the rear – independent multi-lever.

The braking system consists of rear disc and front ventilated disc brakes.

Fuel consumption for the 2-liter engine is 11.2 liters for the city and 8.4 liters for driving on the highway. For the ST version, the indicator is 12.3 l and 9.4 l, respectively. The volume of the fuel tank is 75 liters.

The towing capacity of the most powerful model of 2023 is 1580 kg.

High-quality materials are used for decoration, fabric upholstery is provided for the basic configuration. The top versions are equipped with leather upholstery. The decoration of the instrument panel is dominated by plastic. In general, the interior is quite restrained and simple.
The volume of the luggage compartment is 969 liters, and when the rear seats are folded, the space increases to 2876 liters.

The gear shifter features an innovative rotary disc that allows easy access to cup holders, storage compartments and USB ports. Top configurations are equipped with seat heating, ventilation, dual-zone climate control and other comfort options.

All models received a 12-inch touch screen infotainment system, which is located vertically. Multimedia works with Sync 4A software and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto applications. A Wi-Fi access point is provided.
Navigation is still an optional feature.

The list of equipment includes the main standard functions. Driving a car is facilitated by emergency automatic braking systems, the ability to monitor and control blind spots, maintain traffic flow and keep in your lane feauture.
