Platinum is a new package for the restyled version of the fourth-generation Ford Escape crossover for the 2023 model year.
Exterior
The appearance of the car is modern and aggressive. Characteristic features of the model: deep radiator grille, LED narrow headlights, bolder hood, side mirrors with automatic folding, LED taillights, 19-inch alloy wheels. An important detail of the Ford Escape Platinum exterior is the presence on the panoramic roof.
Interior
The Escape Platinum’s soft-touch interior with leather trim comfortably seats five adults. The steering wheel will also be upholstered in leather with colorful stitching. The comfortable high-back front seats are electrically adjustable. Luggage compartment capacity is 974 liters, with folded rear seats – 1851 liters.
A 13.2-inch multimedia system screen (Apple CarPlay, Amazon Alexa, Android Auto support) with updated SYNC4 software (cloud connectivity, support for air updates) is mounted above the center front panel. There’s a 4G LTE Wi-Fi 4G LTE hotspot, two USB ports, and a 10-speaker audio system.

Standard on the Ford Escape Platinum is the EcoBoost series turbocharged gasoline engine (2.0L) paired with an 8-band automatic transmission. An optional hybrid setup is available with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder atmospheric unit and an electric motor in tandem with a CVT. The vehicle can be front- or all-wheel drive.
