Technical specifications

Under the hood of the third European Ford Focus can be found the following gasoline units: 1.0-liter three-cylinder motor EcoBoost series, 1.6-liter Ti-VCT and 1.6-liter Ecoboost Turbo. Of the diesel units, the Duratorq TDCi (1.6-liter, 2.0-liter) is offered. The car is equipped with a manual transmission and a robotized PowerShift with dual clutch.

The suspension has been updated in the front arms, but in type it remains similar to the very first generation: independent MacPherson – at the front, multi-lever Control Blade – at the rear.

Safety system

The safest car became even better: side protection curtains, dynamic stabilization system and monitoring of blind zones, antilock brakes and automatic braking in case of collision, rear view camera and parking semi-automatic, speed limiter and bi-xenon lighting.
