Sales of the seventh-generation Ford Fiesta started in 2017, preceded by the 2016 premiere in Europe. For this market, the new hatchback became available in 3-door and 5-door body with a wide variety of configurations.

Depending on how advanced the equipment is, you can choose from SYNC 3 system with 6 speakers and 8-inch touchscreen to Bang & Olufsen sound system with 9 speakers, from leather upholstered seats to sports seats.

Specifications

The Ford Fiesta VII hatchback features a 1.5-liter TDCi diesel engine with Common Rail technology and a rich choice of gasoline units: 1.1-liter base 3-cylinder motor, turbocharged 1.0-liter EcoBoost family, 1.0-liter EcoBoost Hybrid with MHEV type setup.

Automatic transmissions are provided with separate gasoline engines 1.0 EcoBoost, all other powertrains are paired with a manual.

From the predecessors remained: front-wheel drive, independent front suspension McPherson, twisting beam at the rear. Brakes on the front wheels are ventilated discs, on the rear – drum (except for cars more powerful than 100 hp).

Safety system
