Ford has announced the F-150 Raptor R pickup for Europe

Ford’s best-known pickup, the 730-hp F-150 Raptor R, is set to debut in Europe for the 2027 model year.

The updated Ford F-150 was unveiled back in 2023, but in Europe the top pickup offering had until now remained the F-150 Raptor. That is now set to change, as a version with over 700 hp is coming to the European market.
Hedin, the official importer and distributor of Ford F-150 in Europe, announced that the 2027 model-year Ford F-150 Raptor R will be available to European buyers through a network of authorized dealers. So European buyers who aren’t put off by its massive dimensions can now start dreaming about the new model.

What is known about the F-150 Raptor R?

It’s worth noting that the Raptor R measures 5.91 meters in length, 2.05 meters in height, and 2.21 meters in width (not including side mirrors). Its weight should also be taken into account — nearly 2.7 tonnes.
This monster is powered by a 5.2-liter supercharged V8 engine borrowed from the Mustang Shelby GT500. Since the 2024 model year, it has boasted 730 hp and 867 Nm of torque.

Other features of the boldest Raptor include powerful Fox Dual Valve shock absorbers, forged wheels with bead-lock capability and 37-inch all-terrain tires, Recaro leather seats with Alcantara inserts, carbon-fiber interior trim, a unique hood with an “R” emblem, and a two-section panoramic sunroof.
In addition to Raptor R-specific features, the vehicle also gets the updated F-150 Raptor equipment package, including a head-up display, a 360-degree surround-view camera, the Pro Trailer Backup Assist reversing system, a B&O audio system, and a 12-inch touchscreen.

Price and offer

Hedin noted that its dealer network reflects a clear market trend of growing demand in Europe for unique, extremely high-performance vehicles.
The scale of demand and the number of units to be supplied have not yet been announced. Hedin’s press release fairly often mentions that availability will be “very limited.” In addition, the F-150 Raptor R will cost at least €159,000.
Deliveries will begin in the first quarter of 2027. The vehicle can be pre-ordered from authorized F-150 dealers.
